Around two billion people, all over the world are going to watch the wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton on Friday 29th April 2011. An auspicious day made even more special when you look at the story of how Kate attracted her Prince. It’s a dream that most women on this planet aspire; to bag a prince of their own.

Consciously or unconsciously or many would say she’s lucky, Kate, a woman described as a privileged ‘commoner’ is perfect example and proof that getting your prince really can be achieved. In her earlier days, she had a picture of her prince to remind her of her destined goal and six weeks after Prince William spent ten weeks working as a volunteer with Raleigh International – Kate also did the same, a touch of synchronicity in nature as she missed her meeting the prince by just a matter of weeks.

Kate aligned herself in a way that she would be noticed. Kate wore a black lacy barely there dress in a charity fashion show whilst at St Andrews, and it was said to have caught Prince William’s eye, and to boot the dress just sold at auction for £78,000!

She applied synchronicity to share interests and dress the part of a future princess, further aligning herself with the royal path she has chosen. Through her time dating Prince William, she used mirroring to style herself in a way that complemented Prince William and made them exude naturally as a couple.

She showed she had beauty and brains, studying at St Andrews and always showing a winning, mesmerising smile no matter what. Energetically, when you smile you brighten up your aura and you restore the feel-good factor within yourself, making you much more attractive than you would if you had a straight face most of the time. Smiling also makes other people feel good around you.

Kate and William have had fun dates out which is essential for any romance (Royal or not) to blossom.

Some people may put it down to coincidence but Kate has a spontaneity, a sense of desire and clarity about what she wanted from her Prince and she’s proof that it can be achieved.

Whether you’re male or female, most of us find there’s something romantic about the Spring season. I suppose it’s coming out of the deepest, darkest winter and embracing light and colour. Face it we do feel different in Spring.

And for many of us, it raises the hope for romance again. Dust yourself from the winter blues, perhaps buy a few new items to update your Spring wardrobe and get out on the dating scene?

It’s a must read for all female hopefuls wanting to attract romance but romance of the right kind for you. Yes it’s good to get advice from our female friends, mother, sister but the best advice really to understand men better naturally comes from a man.

I went to do a spot of Buddhist meditation yesterday conducted by a very intuitive and well informed monk at the local Buddhist centre in West London.

After spending more than an hour in meditation, first standing, then sitting and standing once again transmitting vibes of what the Buddhists call ‘loving kindness’ to all mankind, the monk started sharing his nuggets of wisdom.

A meditator asked the monk, “How do I not get caught up in the thoughts that pull me away from meditation.” The monk explained how our mind is like a weather system. We experience turbulences but it’s our attitude towards those whirlwind thoughts of romance, excitement, boredom, anxiety or fear, to name a few, that determines how we are in the world and our experience of the real world.

The key to meditating effectively and having a good sitting is to constantly bring yourself back to observe your breath. Feelings, emotions will come up but the trick is not to let them harpoon away. Instead observe them, feel them in your body, notice the sensations and let it go. The experienced monk said this is part of the healing process. It is NOT ignoring life or being a passenger in life, it is realising what your attitude is towards these feelings, learning from the experience and lettting it be. There’s nothing much that can be done more by worrying. And worrying never serves anybody.

Then another meditator asked: “What about the subconscious mind?” The monk replied, “Have you ever seen the subconscious mind?” There was a gentle rumble of laughter in the room. “No one has actually seen the subconscious mind and in Buddhism it’s about observing the whole mind, not compartmentalising it.”

Summer is the perfect time to spend outdoors, eating icecream, picnics in the park, pims and lemonade but how often do you think yoga when it comes to cooling down.

There are 3 postures which will keep you cool when you’re lounging on the beach during your summer holidays:
1. Forward fold – stand tall, plant your feet firmly in the beach sand, take a deep deep breath, and as you exhale gently swan dive your upper body as you hinge forward at the hips. Legs stay firm and grounded as your upper body melts – let your head and arms go heavy. After 3 long slow deep breaths, slowly come up again and repeat 3 times.

2. Downward Facing Dog – From Forward fold, bend your knees, walk your hands forward on the ground and your feet back until you are in an inverted “V” shape. Press your palms into the beach and walk and stretch your heels down one at a time. Your dog will want to definitely help you with this pose.
